Run far from the old attic, from the rusted door that creaks like a dying scarecrow. The darkness is coming for you, just like it came for me.” Emily, a curious sixteen-year-old with Dorothy’s own fiery spirit, rolls her eyes, though her grandmother’s haunted gaze stays etched in her mind. “Grammy, it’s just stories.
