A principled young prison officer is assigned to escort a dangerous, high-value prisoner to court, where the inmate will testify against his elite crime syndicate. As they traverse the city, their initially tense dynamic begins to shift. The officer, trained in protocol, finds himself drawn to the prisoner's sharp, methodical mind, while the prisoner—known for his icy composure—tests the officer's resolve with subtle, thought-provoking questions. Meanwhile, the syndicate, fearing exposure, dispatches ruthless enforcers to intercept them. The stakes escalate rapidly: a botched roadside stop leaves the officer wounded, forcing them to abandon the vehicle and seek refuge in a desolate warehouse. Here, the prisoner reveals a chilling detail about the syndicate's inner workings, and the officer must decide whether to trust this enemy or uphold the law. Their relationship, once defined by authority and resistance, now hangs in the balance as they face an uncertain future with the syndicate closing in.
