剧情简介
This season saw the show return to weekly new episodes, maintaining its hour-long format. The second half-hour featured reruns from previous seasons and 1980s prime-time specials. The entire season, plus the latter half of Season 6, is on the Garfield and Friends Volume 5 DVD set. A new theme song by J.R. Johnston and Neil Panton, sung by Johnston, was added but not used internationally, so it’s absent from the DVDs (though Garfield’s quotes remain). The new intro used clips from Seasons 5–7, a few from the first two seasons, and specials like Garfield in Paradise and Garfield’s Feline Fantasies. After Season 7’s fourth episode, the title cards stopped using theme song snippets, instead using episode music until the end—with Season 6 already doing this.
